Not sure, they're going through these pretty quickly, but it looks like Ft. Worth, just based on how they announced them. I'll post the rest of the regionals once they post a full bracket somewhere online.
Everyone plays Friday and Saturday. If you lose twice, you go home, if you win, you'll play on Sunday and potentially Monday. Times have not been announced yet.
My only beef with who did not get in was Rhode Island, Northern school who did everything right except win every game possible. Only played 16 home games. Pitiful.
Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Oregon State have no business in the tourney. I'd take UCLA over the Beavers who are in purely on a reputation basis. I'll be watching to see how many of you four go 0-2.
I don't think the Pac 10 deserved three, the Big-12 surely did not deserve eight. I don't know enough about the ACC to opine on their eight.
The Rhode Island players and fans must feel they got screwed. I doubt the Oklahoma State players and fans would feel they got screwed if they had not been selected. I think it's better to allow some of the smaller schools' teams to have the tournament experience. Oklahoma State & Baylor will have their chances more often than not. But this should be a "not" year for them.
OTO: It sure makes the Big12 look good.
Oregon State is not very good and probably only made the tournament on account of their recent success, but Aggy has been playing pretty poorly lately, so anything is possible. It's very likely that Aggy is thinking ahead to a potential rematch with us and not focusing on the job at hand.
