I don't understand how you can say someone shouldn't have won it. I can see someone saying "It wouldn't have been who I would have voted for".
 
I know of somebody who posts over here sometimes that also knew one of the two that got into trouble at OU. He knew of their misdeeds as well, months before it went down. He also knows for a fact that there were others. Those two were the scapegoats.

OU was way more guilty than what they got into trouble for on that one. Oh well, it is what we expect from cheaters.
 
if i had to start a college team tomorrow and could choose one player on defense and one player on offense it would be vince young and brian bozworth. reggie bush was a fantastic college player on a fantastic college team.
 
The media also forgot how Reggie disappeared in a few games that season also.

The media kept pointing out all-purpose yards and give Reggie credit for returning 5 kicks for 200 yards -- that season, Bush was a mediocre punt returner (9.9 per return) and a very poor kick returner (17.6 per return).

He was great as a running back in 2005. But it always galled me how much praise he received for being versatile and a special teams weapon when he was nothing special as a return man.
 
Landslide or not the writers got it wrong in not giving it to Vince and now Reggie may not have been a legal player and so much more so does he deserve it or at least they should revote.
