Who wins that matchup? What a game that should be. Does playing in New Orleans give LSU the advantage? As Rexy previously pointed out, Fowles can struggle against physical play and Larkins is about as physical as they come.

Actually, I think this will be a great game. I will really enjoy seeing Larkins and Fowles matchup. I will really enjoy seeing those two go at each other.

Unfortunately, I have not seen UNC play much this year, so I'm not sure about the other matchups. If Fowles is clicking and LSU's guards are hitting, then I think they can take UNC - but not sure.

I'd think that LSU will have a lot of sentimental support. Their Seniors have really been through trials by fire. I'm glad the they are getting to play on home stomping grounds. I'm not heavily invested, but I'd like the time to be right for the LSU team.

These Seniors deserve a break....lost Sue Gunter, went through Katrina, then lost Pokey.....so, yeah, I would love to see them get it all...

I don't see anyone beating You-Con, but I can hope.

Oh, and I really like Sylvia Hatchell's tuxedo. I'm not sure what the influence is, but it sure is nice.

And by nice, I mean it looks like homemade sin.

Watching this game was a pleasure and I couldn't figure out why. Then it dawned on me, that little bug-eyed drama queen Ivory Latta was not participating. Thought she was never going to leave after what seemed like a 10 year career with UNC.

Personally, this game was one of the most boring games I've watched during the tourney. Thankfully the Stanford-Maryland game woke me up. I'm still not an LSU fan. I guess Van got to have his big ole glass of iced tea after the game. Maybe I need to get over how the LSU pep band made fun of the Texas pep band every time they played at the game when the Texas women were beaten by LSU in Seattle a few years back.
