NBC Fraudulently Distorts Audio

What, the liberal media distorting the truth to further their own agenda? Imagine that.

The Left's media machine is doing all it can to whip up the populace by keeping this story alive.

NBC was only trying to stay up with ABC in fanning the racial tensions with distortions.
ABC deliberately put their chyron over the vid of zimmerman going into the police station and then 'reported" Ziimmerman had no visible injuriies.

it is like they are trying are in a contest to be the one who fans the racial tensions.
 
One man's doctoring of a tape is another man's commonly practiced editing. You're wading in the weeds with an intention to deflect from the real story. Predictable.

Considering the fact that I've already heard more than one observer point out that when Zimmerman was talking about the person by saying "he says he looks suspicious" and immediately follows with "I think he's black", it is a clear indication that Zimmerman was racist.

But I suppose in your mind that makes no difference. What he should have done was rebuke the dispatcher right then and there for asking for the person's race. The fact that he answered the question obviously means he was racist.
 
Comments like Satchel's make me very worried about our country. I bet you could get many in agreement from the liberal mind set.
 
Obviously, if it were to be used in a court case the "evidence" presented by NBC would be unacceptable. There is no mistaking distortion of meaning here. There is a huge difference between Zimmerman describing the person as black in response to a question and overtly identifying him as black.

What about if we use editing and distortion in a Political Ad?
Would it be fair in this case to say "THE REPUBICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE FRAUDULENTLY DISTORTS AUDIO ?"The Link

In this age, we're going to have to be awfully careful when deciding who in the government and media to trust. Wouldn't it be nice if those in journalism and political communications would ask themselves at least the first two guiding principles in Rotary Club's four-way test. Is it the Truth? Is it FAIR to all concerned?

I guess it's clear to me now that Fox News has two very important roles. One is exposing logic-free analysis and distortion of facts in other media. The other is airing logic-free analysis and distortion of facts that can be turned into hilarity on the Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
 
I continue to be amazed that anyone thinks the media is fair about anything. Any of them. About anything.

The airwaves were turned over to private companies so they could make money decades ago. That is what they are in the business of doing. Do none of you understand that?


These are the same networks that sell ad time to companies who all claim they make the very best trucks, beer, shampoo, pizza, etc. You can watch an NFL game and see one ad after another talking about the best pickup in America/Texas/the world and all are talking about different products. What is the difference between hyping trucks and hyping crime stories? None.

The ads are to sell trucks, the news stories are to fan interest so you will watch so they can show the ads to you and you can buy the trucks and the manufacturers of the trucks will continue to pour money down their craws.

We live in a commercial society and they are all doing what they have to to survive and prosper. If you don't like it, move to Cuba.

My suggestion is that you don't move and that you quit watching television news. It is all bullzhit and doesn't teach you anything. Who give's a rat's *** about some teenager getting mistakenly blown away over a thousand miles from here?

Quit watching and read a book or stare at the bugs in your backyard or something else useful.

Quit deluding yourself into believing you learn anything by watching this trash. I used to represent media in defamation suits. They can't get it right when they try and they don't try.

We are so deluded that a guy went to his death in Huntsville the other day with the final words "Go Cowboys!!"

Glad to see he had his head on straight when he made his deserved and overdue exit.

I have been saying this since he has slithered onto the board months ago. No one and I mean not even Al Sharpton/Sheila Jackson Lee can be that stupid or ignorant.
 
One other thing. I've mainly avoided this whole story, but I was in Houston the other day and a black channel (that's what it was, sorry) was having a round-table discussion about it. It was about 65% stoking the flames and 35% reasonable.

Anyway, what I found interesting is that they kept saying that Zimmerman was "half white." But, when they brought up President Obama in the conversation, it was never even imagined that he, too, is "half white," the same half as Zimmerman. Again, I have avoided this whole story; am I the only one who has noticed this or has it been beaten to death, too?
 
BO being the first half black President doesn't have nearly the same ring to it., so black trumps white. Zimmerman is a racist, so white trumps Hispanic.
 
i think we'd all be shocked at how many satchels work for MSNBC/NBC

Their brains simply cannot reconcile the fact that maybe their side might be wrong, even once.
 
No one with even a quarter of a brain can think that was innocent editing by NBC. CNN also used that version of the 911 call

What I don't get is what is the agenda? Why is it to media's benefit to stoke the racist theme?
 
It's the media's interest to stoke the story and get more people to watch so they can jack up the ad rates.

Florida man unnecessarily shoots another Florida man will get a yawn; white man murders black man and white cops let him go, that gets some interest; then you throw in he is not completely white, he may have been assaulted, yadda yadda yadda, and you have a controversy and a bunch of folks in Texas are exchanging posts on the subject a month later.

Keep the story going, ask Al Sharpton what he thinks, and Jesse Jackson, too. That will stoke things a bit.

Keep the story going as long as possible. When people lose interest, there is always a little blonde girl missing somewhere.
