It is Mike Davis and although it is not a done deal yet, it appears he wants to be a Horn. I sure hope so because he is going off in the playoffs and made our boy Adrian White look bad last night.

Mike Davis is committed to LSU, the reported stated something to the effect that there is a player, currently committed to a major program, that is all but committed to the Horns. So just b/c Mike Davis is committed doesnt mean anything, if you believe in the "mystery recruit" b/c he fits the bill.

That's why..."Ta Da!!!...the mystery recruit really isn't a recruit at all. Mack used his snake oil to find an 8th year of eligibility for Jordan Shipley.

Mike Davis attended the first Junior Day in February along with Corey Nelson and another teammate and didn't get an offer. If he is the "mystery recruit" I wonder when we started recruiting him again. He sounded pretty down on us according to other recruiting sources after the junior day and committed to LSU in March/April. Franklin sounds a lot more plausible if there really is a committed player about to decommit and commit to us.
