Hi,
I just wanted to share that my mother died on 9/5/2007.
She had been sick, but doing well.
She had emphysema for years and she was always fine, pushing her self to remain independent.
Even though she was sick, this was not expected.
With the illness, even the slightest bug can result in pneumonia and become fatal.
We had lunch on Labor Day, talked on the phone Tuesday, and she passed away while my sister and I were at her side on Wed. morning.
To be honest, it is still surreal and has not hit me full on yet.
I anticipate the sadness to hit me full on once all the relatives staying at my home go back to their lives.
Please say a prayer for her, in hopes that she is resting well and reunited with my father.
