My Grandmother

She is 87 years old and is still a very active strong woman, but I was just hit with the news that she has pneumonia.

I am extremely scared, I had a 28 year old friend from high school die in december from pneumonia, so this has shaken me up pretty bad.

Please put her in your prayers.
 
Prayers . at this age or any age for that matter it can be scary my grandmother had it and recovered it just took her a bit longer then most.
Many prayers for healing and strength.
 
My grandmother too is 87 so I can understand what you must be feeling.

Thank you for your prayers, but she passed away last night. She had a good life and never pulled any punches. She was a good woman.

my grandma on my mom's side was recovering from a broken hip thought she was doing so well she'd just recovered from phenomnia when she fell then she suffered a massive stroke while at a rehap facility, Health South, and died about a week later so I can understand how scary the situations can be.
 
I'm sorry to hear about your loss Root. The comfort is knowing she is much better off now and is more active and alive than you ever knew she could be. You will see her again one day.
