My friend....

is an FBI agent based in Washington, DC. I first met my friend (whom I will not name because I don't know how dangerous that might be) in graduate school where we were masters students in Middle Eastern Studies. Aside from being well-versed in the politics of the region, my friend is fluent in Hebrew and Arabic and I know that he will be out there in harms way in coming days as he - in his own words- is removing the scum from the streets. Its guys like him that do the difficult jobs, often behind the scenes, that are crucial to our success in this fight. Please pray for him and the others like him as they put their lives on the lines every day.

I will pray daily for God to give your friend guidance and strength as he works to defeat this awful enemy, which he most assuredly will. Be assured that God will keep your friend under His watchful care.

Your friend is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for people like me, who have never met him. He must be an extraordinary individual. I appreciate him and his fellow agents now more than ever.

Please know that he and you will always be in my prayers.
