Was diagnosed with a malignant tumor. She is the sweetest dog you can find and I hate it has happened to her. For all the animal lovers out there, please keep her in your thoughts.

I will pray for Tara...I love my dog more than anything and it would crush me if something happened to mine....Me and Augustus are hoping the best both for your buddy Tara.

I wouldn't begin to presume I know anything about Tara's illness, but maybe this will make you feel better: my mutt Agnes (of Dog) has had a tumor growing off her rear end for more than 6 years now. One vet called it an "I don't know-ma", and two others were baffled as to its origin and type as well. However, it has metasticized . . . but it has taken a LONG time. They think it hit her liver a couple of years ago, as she started having seizures, which apparently can correlate to liver disease in dogs.

At any rate, Agnes is a few months shy of 17 years old now and still going "strong". I don't think it's gonna be the cancer that gets her.
