My Daddy Passing

Well, I've honestly never been to this thread, but think it will be a good place to start the healing process. My daddy (48) passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, August 29th due to a heart attack caused by a blood clot. He works in Saudi Arabia and, thank goodness, was home for a visit.

I am 7 months pregnant with the first grandchild...so unfortunately, my daughter will never have the chance of meeting her granddaddy which makes me really sad. My parents were married for 28 years and were more in love now than they ever have been, so needless to say my mom isn't doing to well.

Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who not only had to break the news to me, but has been more supportive than anyone has been in my life. I guess what I need is for people to keep the rest of my family in their prayers so that they can get the support they need.

God bless.

I am sorry for your loss. so sad that he will not be able to hold his first grandbaby but will be able to see her.
My grandpa died 4 days after my son was born on he only got to see him once, it was my grandmothers birthday, a special gift from God, he came eary, she was a wreck and she looked to my son for relief from her grief but I was blessed to have a picture of him holding my son.
Make sure you share special stories and pictures of your dad and she will know him.
Many prayers and blessing to you all.

You can bet your father is watching over your daughter every day. I imagine she can feel his warmth every second of the day.

Hope you can find strength..
