I have no idea what Texas is going to see in the next game except I know Texas is going to face a much more focused Kyler Murray.
If he plays Texas again Murray will have a lifetime record of 0-2.Unless Texas plays them again this season, he will have a losing record against Texas FOREVER.
These will have to do for now.Does anyone have the interview of the Snowflake crying?

TCU or Tech (both on the road). OSU seems to be very hollow so far this season.
If Orlando can correct the defensive deficiencies and Texas can make it to the play-like championship game, they will win it. Riley had to lay all of his cards on the table yesterday, and unless Big Red hires about 6 new defensive players between now and that game, Texas will again be able to dictate the game pace and scoring.
Quite frankly the real concern now is the current distinct possibility that 3 $EC teams could make it through to the playoff's because Alabama will have to lose 2 games to be kept out and Georgia, Florida, and LSU will be pushed hard by ESPN claiming those are the best 4 teams in the land.
“Offensively in the first and second half we did a lot of great things. This game is a four-quarter game … it is just tough.”
Yes it is a 4 quarter game, but Texas is the team that offensively pooched it in the 4th. Had Herman kept the foot on the OU throat instead of being so conservative we could have won by 35 and not 3 Kyler. You're a crybaby.
the HELL with being conservative with frick'n o.u.!!!
I'm not sure which blown coverage you are talking about but the one getting attention is the one with Locke on Brown on the "left side". It wasn't even blown coverage...Locke was late getting lined up, putting on his chinstrap, and still moving when ball was snapped...couple that with a rub/pick at the line and it was a miracle he was as close to Brown as he was. I wholeheartedly agree with your post and personally read very little into OUs 21 point flash there in the 4th....other than the very practical scare it provided.OU plays a night game at West Virginia to close out the year, in a game that will very likely send the winner to the conference championship game. OU's not winning that game with that defense.
Frankly I'm not convinced OU wins at Tech.
Murray's focus was not the issue. Murray was plenty focused. Murray got beat because the defense made just enough plays, he got off schedule because of penalties and having to finally play a team that could scare him a little. He played a lot better once he was down 21 and basically had nothing to loose.
Murray's a great player but if we don't blow a coverage and then lose contain on a blitz, we're all talking about how OU doesn't want any part of a rematch with us.

YepTrue - I tend to think of it as blown because he wasn't paying attention and didn't handle his assignment. Technically he knew what he was supposed to do and just didn't do it.
Now, the OTHER scoring pass looked like a blown coverage. (When they were inside the 20 I believe, and BJ started to get sucked in on the RB in the flat and let his guy run right past him down the middle for an easy score.)
LOL...and I was just thinking about how Kyler looked Saturday now that he was all grown up. I'm sure everyone remembers his childhood pic...The Murrays are a nice looking family
