Apart from the fact that the guy has questionable people skills and can't seem to run a business, the bottom line is that his BBQ was inconsistently good. When he was on, the BBQ was great. Problem is, you never knew what you were going to get. Until that issue is solved, the business isn't going to make it anywhere.

In the first couple of years, I never had a bad experience at John Mueller's. In the last couple of years, the quality was hit or miss. The last time I ate there a week before they closed the food was awful.
