The best is just plain BS as this year's team might have 2 or 3 NFL draftees at the most. I think more future NFL players played in the USC-Texas Rose Bowl than any other game I can remember. It was way over 30.

Uh no. Ill tell you hwat. You can have Sam. Ill take VY, who in his 3rd year won a National title and was 2nd in Heisman voting (should have won).

I think some of you who discredit VY as a mere mortal must have defective memories.

I never felt better about our QB. 4th and 18? Nonproblem! 3rd and 20. We got this. Down by 28 at the half? Well the second half is going to be a blast. Opponent the best team in history and could beat the 85 Bears? Not scared. even Colt who was on another level never made me feel that good about our odds.

Were VY teams better? Sure, but just as they made VY better, he made them better too. That is a chicken/egg argument.
