While we are throwing out names, what about Kenya Landers who is head coach at Trinity Valley Community College? I doubt that she is ready for a Div. 1 head coach job but she does have the Texas connection and has had success as a coach.

While I appreciate the vote of confidence I am completely satisfied with my current position and competing for district and state titles yearly. I asked myself a few years ago would I ever consider moving to the NCAA ranks and the answer is generally no. Im devoted to my family and a career in college coaching wouldnt allow me to some of the things that I value the most and that is spending time with my family, coaching my kids, and attending their games as well as ut games and looking at the light in their eyes. Wouldnt trade that for the world. Thats what I admire any coach that is able to make that ultimate sacrafice to live their dream.
