While praying for all who are in danger from the path of Hurricane Emily, I felt especially lead to pray for Monterrey, Mexico. I have heard from a friend there that Monterrey's position in the mountains makes it especially vulnerable - it's basically on the donut hole flat land in the middle of a circle of mountains and the winds have a lot easier time coming in than they do getting out. I pray for the safety of everyone in the path, and that the reports I hear of it fizzling down (it might already be back to a Tropical Storm) earlier than expected prove to be true, that it will die out before reaching the city.
