We are going to chalk this game up to the flu and never speak of it again. Three players couldn’t even come to the game and three that are playing look like death warmed over. Even Vic looks bad. Cut them some slack

If you know anything about Vic Schaefer, you know he is almost never going to make excuses for poor play. He knows it’s insulting to the other team and he just doesn’t buy into it. His expectation is that you play 110% every game. No excuses. But if you read between the lines in this press conference, he clearly has a team that was at 60% dealing with health issues and he was proud of the effort. I know many of us expected a blowout, but I’m not sure we truly appreciate what just happened. This team is tough. Next up - A&M. Let’s get it done.

Note: for those of you questioning his lineups, pay attention to his remarks about matchups. And I particularly like the way Booker talked about the freshmen.

I catch some of the lady horns games and saw the mizzou game last night. I was impressed with that gritty win when the team was dealing with injuries. Way to go ladies - now go beat the hell outta a&m!!!

Except for the 7 turnovers, Jak had a great game. She appears to have finally come into her own. She seems to be more confident and aggressive...not tentative as in years past.
