Miss St schedule
Miss St. has had an inconsistent season thus far, they've lost to Ok. St., Troy, Arizona and Southern Miss. (split with S. Miss)
Teams they've beat: Manhattan, Old Dominion, Queens, Rice.
Haven't beaten anyone of note, let's make sure we aren't the first.
Doesn't appear on paper to have what it takes but they are playing at home and against a team they know can play baseball. I expect we will see an elevated level of play from Miss. St. and highly competitive games. I'm sure it's going to be a dog fight and will be a good test for all phases of the team, offense, defense and pitching.
I'm excited to see who gets on the mound this weekend.
Borba looks to have established a spot, Farmer really struggled in Tuesday's game, you could see the lack of confidence in in his eyes the 3rd, 4th, and 5th at bat. No one else is really challenging Farmer, maybe Winfield still gets some opportunities but need one of these two to dig out of their slump.
