So I'm in Fayettenam before the Arky game in a bar on the main drag. The bar is loaded with a bunch of Longhorns with roughly half of them college kids. For some reason or another a group of about 10 start chanting SEC SEC SEC so my wife promptly hushed them explaining how they sounded aggy, we're Texas and better than that. They almost in unison said yes ma'am and never did it again. A few of the "older" horns started clapping for my wife.

We can't be afraid to teach these young bucks how it's supposed to be.

I think it will be used sarcastically. At least for the first couple of years. Especially after the first big home/road win.

I spent three years in Lubbock pre Leach and still have lots of contact. Leach still has legions of admirers but also a lot of people who were fed up with his show. His flip personality can wear and his lack of grace with the higher ups cost him his job. You did not see a lot of weeping in Pullman when he left there

as for Miss State, he hasn’t been there long enough to write him off yet. Another couple of recruiting classes and time to work them up and we will see how he fares
