Michigan-Washington Natty Game Thread

Still numb since last Monday.

Really dont care much which team wins tonight. Perhaps I prefer Mich more because of my intense dislike like for tOSU. :idk:

I need to pay closer attention.
I swear I thought to announcer say a back had spent too much time in the bathroom
Instead of backfield

I credit Sark for getting us there and I blame him for not getting us to here tonight. Just my opinion but that’s what I feel. We could run on them just as M appears to be going, nevertheless I will always contend there is no excuse for being unable to get it in the EZ with four tries from inside the 12, zero. Not with the game on the line. And Penix misses a TD, darn.

Penix missed an open receiver in the end zone. He’s not “on” tonight like he was last week.
He didn’t miss anyone in clutch situations last week.

I just explained what NIL is and how it is harming college football to my wife. It was kind of like explaining how the Texans stumbled into the NFL playoffs !! :smokin:

My oh my. M running through W like poop through a goose.
I’m having visions of what Jonathan Brooks might have done last week.

Sickening feeling to watch Michigan do to udub what we should have done and we’re capable of doing.
I think M has a better running game now than the Horns. Especially since Brooks went down.
Also M’s O line is better than the Horns’. Much more experienced

Horns 2nd game next fall: Michigan @ Ann Arbor. MI Offensive starters returning - 1. Yes, 10 Seniors. Only QB McCarthy returns.

Looked it up last week.

We didn’t break two long runs for td’s in the first quarter.

Both backs averaged over 7 yds per carry on a whopping 8 carries each. UW couldn't stop either back. I kept asking the entire game why aren't we running more because they cant stop it. Instead we got into a passing pissing contest and could have controlled the game with running. I think we are the better match up with Michigan's style, but we'll never know.

We kept getting in third and long. Our penalties (11) put us behind the chains. It put our run game in a hole.
