Michigan / OSU & Rivalry Weekend Games

Wow, dumbass Michigan kick returner catches the kick about 5 feet from the sideline and runs out of bounds with it at the 7, without a fair catch.

Texas' rivalry game is first week of October. Makes it unique and separates it from the others.

This season we are blessed (?!) with The Rivalry, Part 2 next Saturday.

Refs throwing bogus flags to try and get Michigan back into it now. That was just good defense, he reached out and batted the ball away.

I think so. How did this same Tech team play OU and UT so close?

Although ... does anyone know if Duffey got hurt, or if he just got benched for Carter? If the former, maybe Carter is the issue?

Carter needed to throw that away. Scrambling for 3 yards and keeping the clock running is far worse than 0 yards and the stopped clock of an incomplete pass.

My guess is that if everything holds as it is, there will be a strong argument for UCF. I know, strength of schedule. But what they are accomplishing is impressive.

But what if GA beats Bama next week. I’d say that they would jump everyone.

Could be a wild finish.

Watching Michigan today has me thinking their style of offense is truly a relic. Only way to make it work is to have Alabama level athletes and depend on superior defense. Superior defense holds an ou or Wva to 28. Football has changed forever.

OSU is putting up an OU or WVa-type score on what was supposed to be the best defense in the nation. Pretty effing impressive.

EDIT--OSU has scored more than OU or WVa did last night and has done it against what is supposed to be a much better defense that either OU or WVa has. Very, very effing impressive.
