Well, it appears that Texas Tech has outdone Aggy in meat judging, according to a front page article in the Wall Street Journal in the March 12 edition.
Numerous schools were mentioned concerning competition in meat judging, and it doesn't appear that Aggy is anywhere near the leader in this "sport". Apparently 40 schools compete in meat judging. Aggy was mentioned at the end of the article, after the article talked about a dozen other more competetive meat judging schools. The mention of Aggy regarded a student deciding to attend Texas Tech instead of Aggy and join the Red Raider meat judging team.
Now this is a crying shame for Aggy. We all thought they were pretty good at something, but it turns out their rival has bested them in meat judging in addition to the more recognized sports.
