McChrystal: U.S. only 'halfway done' in Afghanista

...if his roll in the Tillman coverup, which is disputed....

Was his role disputed? If so, then why did Stanley "The Liar" McChrystal apologize for his role?

Fact: he outright lied about the Tillman case. He admitted as such. There is no dispute regarding that.

He is a liar; he is without honor. He will lie about military actions when it pleases him. This is not like Newt's private life. Stanley "The Liar" McChrystal didn't lie about his personal life.

It would behoove you to learn the facts, and understand why your Newt analogy is invalid.

Most of the people in DC don't have a very good understanding of the complicated nature of this country, so it is easy enough to understand why they are clueless about other places. What is curious is why they continue to act as if the nature of the other places is irrelevant to what we wish to accomplish in them.

I spit out my drink when I heard W talking about bringing democracy to the middle east. In Iraq we have a sort of democracy after a trillion dollars and an american occupation lasting ten years. When we are gone it will be back to anarchy for a while and then authoritarianism is not outright religious rule.

The guys in DC are arrogant morons; they never learned the appropriate lesson from Viet Nam and they have learned nothing from the ME.
