Harsin's top three will be ASU, Boise State, Washington.

Aranda can wait for a better gig than Auburn unless he wants to retire soon, then he will take that, work three years and get paid for 7. I strongly suspect he will be the new HC at LSU unless he decides to go home and take over Stanford.
 
I think there may be worse fits for Baton Rouge, but most of those are dancing on Bourbon Street. I think the powers that be will tire quickly of Kelly's act. Also remember that much of the BMD group were not thrilled with the choice. I just think his winning personality will wear quickly, and they will be interviewing next year for Kelly's replacement.
 
I do NOT want Rhule to go to OU. Rhule had too much college football success for me to be comfortable with that. Please go Big 10.
 
I actually didn't know this forum was only Texas on the field. I thought it was just "on the field" as opposed to In the stands.
So is In the Stands supposed to be only Texas related too?

I am sure I have posted non Texas stuff in both.

If you go to "Forums", each forum has a brief description.
 
Eh, I made a comment on a thread that had no indication, to me, since I think the NFL is a pile of crap and couldn't care less about it, that the thread must be at least college related. Nope.

Maybe Dion will change the definition of what goes to On The Field. West Mall is only for one thing. Food topics belong in one place, etc. I wonder why any and all football chatter seems to go to the dedicated Longhorn football forum.

Maybe an NFL forum is needed? Not sure why...

Yeah in the 20+ years Ive been on Hornfans I never got the impression On the Field was strictly UT related. Seen tons of NFL posts over the years but whatever the consensus is, is fine with me.
 
Well, WADR to y'all, whether or not it matters to you is immaterial. The In The Stands forum would be the place for crap dealing with that stupid "professional" league.

Anyway, I know it won't change and people will just continue to be lazy and post irrelevant crap in here. So, by all means, have at it.
 
It's a former college coach who will easily get another P5 college job if he wants to pursue that, while it's uncertainly if he'd get hired by another NFL team again. A large amount of the thread is speculation about which college team he'll end up with. I fail to understand how this wouldn't make it a relevant topic for college football.
 
It does seem it's the rare college coach that does well in the NFL. There's such a difference between those two types of football programs that you wonder why any NFL owner takes the risk of hiring a college coach, as seldom as it works out.

That would tend to suggest that at least SOME alcohol was involved...and probably some barbeque as well. And...those are ALWAYS relevant to the Texas fan experience.
