Martellus on Hard Knocks

The problem is the Boys traded away their second string TE and had to draft one with Tellus being the best one on the board, what that means is unless someone steps up behind Jason W Tellus wont be cut.

I see what you mean but they still had the Curtis kid who they like a whole lot and he know's Jason Garrett's system...

Why go as high as two for something you could have gotten much lower, for less cash....Their personnel guys knew Bennett had attitude and metal hangups before they selected him.

Curtis is a blocking TE, Tellus has the talent to be a great pass catcher. I dont like him but can see why they took him and what they see for him in the future.
I thought it was funny Jerry Jones in the draft room said of Tellu: He's very inmature, the coaches will have to stand on his neck to get him to work hard. What I have seen so far the coaches are not getting up in his *** to make him work.

Lastly, they could have spent that second round money on a free agent TE who has a couple snaps under his belt who would take less.

Did I mention one who might recognize a pass rush and who might catch the football when it is thrown his direction?

I don't know why I am so surprised about his attitude....I thought that after all his recruiting crap in high school several years ago he might have grown up and realized that he is gifted.

He would definitely be gone already if it weren't for the money they've spent on him....I can seen those coaches are really getting sick of his attitude already.

We'll see...
