Good news if he's planning to go for the Olympics again. Olympic trials are in July in Eugene and he'd have to finish in the top 3 there.

He was best long jumper in world in 2012 and just had worst three jumps of year in olympic finals, if he had jumped what he did at trials in finals he would have won the gold. 2016 could be very special.

Oops nevermind. When I said he finished 3rd, he was just the 3rd person to make an attempt according to the list at the UStrials website. He actually finished 12th to qualify for finals, and then 7th in the final round. Only the top 3 made it.
