Interesting and thanks for sharing. If they both decide to play together the two commons schools they have in common (as of right now) are Texas and Florida State. Let's hope being close to home mades the decision in our favor.

Thanks...I know nothing about this guys but their personalities that come across in this article seem to be a very good match for some of the other guys that come to Texas. Sounds like a match to me, hopefully they will decide so too.

bama has been on him (brown) strong for a long time - school visits by coaches including saban and video internet visits as well - the Texas coaches have been doing their job also - it's probably a bama/Texas thing

Not sure if I posted it on this board or not, but I live in the Schertz area and am a youth leader for my church. Some of the kids that play football at Steele go to my church. I was asking them a few months ago where they thought Brown would end up, and all of them said without question Alabama.

So him loving Alabama is not something new, I have a feeling it's been a long time coming.

Doesn't mean he is Alabama bound, but those kids knew Alabama was a player long before he started talking about it with Rivals and the San Antonio newspapers.

Who knows what goes through the mind of an 18 year old kid? That's why I just try to celebrate the commitments and wish the best to the rest. It's not easy, but I try.
