I think it is obvious that something has taken place to make Briles have an extra amount of angst against either Mack or UT. Who knows what has gone on. It may have to do with assistant coaching positions available historically. Who knows.?.?. But I do remember there was a good relationship...or it seemed, before Briles started coaching in college. Even when he was an asst. at tech it seemed to be okay.
At this point I am through with feeling sorry for Baylor. That whole school is a low class cesspool of hypocritical students and leaders. Let's cover up a murder all in the name of Jesus!
The way things were rigged in Teaff's last game 20 years ago still bothers me to the extreme. If anyone ever wants to see a true conspiracy (ags check this out) all you need to do is watch a copy of that game. Unbelievable. So then for the better part of 18 years they are a joke and an embarrassment, and now they actually make two bowl games in a row!!! And now they think they are the shiznit and their players act like thugs and their fans talk trash. Amazing.
With Briles at least they won't go decades without a Conference win, but I can now again laugh when they get raped weekly and not feel sorry for them. Next year is going to be a funny year for Briles. He is going to have expectations of a winning team and might have to do it without RG.
