LSU Recruits Another QB

LSU just received a commit from pro-style QB - Rivals$$$

Wonder how this affects Shepard's commitment? If he's their QB, then why are they still recruiting pro-style QBs?

Shepard already came out and said that he doesn't mind competition at all and that he just wanted a chance. I still there is a possibility that Russell could change his mind but I don't think thiis unranked QB will be the deciding factor.

All Miles wants is to get a LOI signed by Shepard, then he will do what he wants with him.

No truer words have ever been spoken, Earl. LSU has him already penciled in as a WR just as soon as they get the LOI. Down to the signing day, Texas still has to be in it because of their truthfulness early and they are the school he really wants to be at.

Good thing Shep doesn't mind competing: rumors on the LSU boards are that Miles is going after another QB.

It's hard to understand why he would be trying to bring in three QB's in the same class, but whatever.

I love Mack. Honesty sometmes has a price, but it's always the right thing to do and usually pays dividends down the road. Hopefully future recruits will take note. Mack is straight up with you.

As can be seen above LSU will lose 5 after Shepard's fr. year, but will still have 9 wr's.

Crowton sees Shepard as a better throwing version of Dennis Dixion.

Agreed. Anyone who has seen him play knows that he is no where close to being ready to play QB.
