Loston Officially Decommits

I think he's one of those players that landing him would have looked awesome for our recruiting ranking. In his years here I wonder how much play time he would have seen and if he would have gotten lost in the shuffle.

The question is kinda academic now, barring another change of his mind, but out of idle curiosity, anybody know why Loston had such a consistently low opinion of Texas? Was it something in the Aldine water? Was he brainwashed while he was (very briefly) an aggy commit?

From what I understand, his coach has never liked Texas. I would like to hear what Timmons would say about it.

Regardless, as athletic as Loston is, I am not too heartbroken over him finally making another verbal that is supposed to be real. No matter what is said, Timmons wanted us and is the first Eisenhower player I can remember commiting to us in ..........ever?

Any top Texas DB that doesn't want to play for the Horns, given that we have become DBU in the past 9 years, is probably a head case. Screw him. We don't need him. We have some certified bad asses in our roster. Let him go be a non factor at some other crap school. I pray he goes to A&M.

It is absolutely scary to think but next season without even considering the incoming freshmen Texas will be a legit 9 deep in the secondary. All though I do believe we will see some attrition our secondary is going to be scary good over the next 3 seasons.

Any DB committing to Texas better be both damn good and patient because I have never seen such a deep secondary.

Loston going to LSU over Texas was probably a very smart move on his part, no doubt he would have redshirted at Texas and by the time he would have been eligible to play our young DBs would have been so seasoned that he never would have seen the field until his 3rd or 4th year on campus.
