Aside from the thing about Ben's daughter, I would have said absolutely not, that it was Jacob's means of "judging" the ones who fall short. But that may actually be anti-Jacob's role in all this anyway.

BTW, consensus seems to be that the statue isn't Anubis, it's Sobek.

Certainly, his "realm" seems much more appropriate to the show's context.

Thanks to our local weather man, I missed the last 15-20 minutes. I've tried the abc web site, but all I keep getting is a gray screen.

pretty sure smokey and anit-jacob are the same. remember, "false locke", before we knew was false, pulled a clark kent when smokey was visiting with ben.

i just watched the finale. need to go watch it again. starting lost at 6:30 am isn't a great idea.
