So can Satan kill God if the deed is done by Job?

I feel like the entire season existed purely for the benefit of this one episode. Glad that they knew how the puzzle would fit together.

So is this final season going to be the battle of Armageddon? The battle of good versus evil in a fight to the finish?

Getting seriously weird now.

So ok, let's say the plan worked and the bomb made it so that the flight never crashes. It would appear that regardless of the event that occurred and caused the crash that Jacob had intended for at least some of them to be a part of whatever he had going on. Which is interesting, I don't think that any of the people he saw in this episode were on those lists of "good" people. So it begs the question, what were those lists really all about.

So since it looks like people are getting "brought" to the island for the sake of this argument, then they're probably going to end up back again because they're being brought in by Jacob and not by a freak accident.

Another question is - is this an ongoing thing where people have been coming to the island and blowing it up over and over and over again? And it keeps starting from scratch each time?

I'm gonna have to watch this whole thing all over again.

It pained me deep to see Juliet go down that well, but I was glad she was still ticking down there. I enjoyed watching her trying to set off the device, lol.

this whole Jacob dynamic is so weird.

I was freaking out the entire night, wondering what was in that case, but i think Locke was one of my first guesses, but i didn't realize until the reveal that it could be the dude from the beginning that's alive.

i was hoping they would have explained why the Anubis statue had fallen.

I'm also guessing that ship at the beginning was that black ship that they found the dynamite on back in season 1.

Pretty good ending. Even for Juliette who apparently gets her own new series next year. Nothing like going out with a bang. And that feather into the white screen ending was a very nice touch. Of course, leaving lots of questions for next season (if Jacob was a god, how could he be killed? and by whose rules? Starbuck's rules? so Locke really is dead?). How could it be anything else?

Kate and jeans go together well.

The fist fight was a long time coming. I would have been disappointed if Sawyer couldnt have beaten down a doctor.

I guess that is Charlie's guitar case? With a guitar in it? Or another dead character?

The face-bandaged chick was the same one who arrested Sayid, right? Meaning Jacob saw all or some of this coming and tried to counter it?

BTW, Alpert's answer was in Latin: "That which will save us all." Was he on the Black Rock (i am assuming that was the ship we saw)?

So was the guy impersonating Locke ( Jacob's nemesis) also the "visions" of dead folks people saw through out the past seasons? It stands to reason he was impersonating Jack's dad when he told Locke to turn the wheel and get off the island. Both Locke and Jack's dad were dead in coffins when their respective planes crashed. Discuss......

CMA, I think it was. This addresses a LONG-standing issue I've had with how inconsistent some of the messages from the island seem to be, and now we clearly know why.

So if the explosion undoes the flight crashing, does it undo Ben killing Jacob?

Also, since Ben claims (and I think he actually believes this) that he "knew" Lock would come back from the dead on the island, who told him that? Clearly Richard didn't know this could happen, so it's doubtful that Jacob ever told him. I would imagine that at some point anti-Jacob must have put that scheme into Ben's mind to give him cover.

Also, were the "rules" that kept anti-Jacob from killing Jacob the same "rules" that kept Whidmore and Ben from killing each other?

Shortly after he said he 'knew' Locke would come back to life, he told another character (forgot who) that he had no idea it was going to happen. I think he was being honest on the second statement, and lying on the first one.

Actually if you remember what he said to Sun it was something like this (she had asked him "if you knew he was going to come back, why are you acting so surprised?")

He said "it's one thing to know it's going to happen, it's another thing entirely to actually SEE it happen." This a rare instance when I think Ben is genuinely in awe of what's going on around him and simply doesn't know.

You're right, once Locke was put in charge, you can definitely see Ben out of sorts. It was funny to see him throw the typical "Ben is the emotional equivalent of a 13-year-old girl" hissy fit before he killed Jacob. It'll be interesting to see more of the specifics behind Jacob's relationship with the Others, and specifically what he wanted to do with the "list" of castaways.

If Jacob hadn't grabbed Sayid, both Sayid and his wife would have kept walking and cleared the intersection. Sayid'd wife stopped and turned back to Sayid when she was hit.

Therefore, I am of the thought that Jacob caused it.

The question is why?

But for now, I'm calling Jacob the Puppet Master.

Also, we know that Jacob and anit-Jacob have been time jumping between centuries but what we don't know is how long they've been doing it.

Great show. Great season. Not gonna enjoy the wait until next Jan.

well, when you are a time traveler, you have a certain knowledge of what people will and will not do.

don't ya think?

I'd really like to know where the scene showing Jin picking up the stuffed Panda for Sun, whom was about to have a baby, fits in. First, he claims that he is just a rep. from Paik Automotive, then he goes on to tell the nurse that the baby is not his and that he himself has in fact only been married for three months.

Texas, that wasn't him buying a panda for Sun, it was him buying a Panda for the ambassador on behalf of Sun's father. He had only recently married Sun. The point was that they were two unrelated flashback incidents clipped together to make you think that Jin was still alive at the time of Sun's baby.
