losses by top 6 teams

1 or 2 will lose, 4 lost earlier in the week, 5 (KU) is losing at half to Oklahoma State, UCLA, #6 is losing in the second half by 9 to Oregon, and we're winning big. If leads hold, we could be as high as #3??? Even assuming KU comes back, we're #4?

Even so, a loss on Big Monday would negate any positive movement in this week's poll. We need to beat the Mildcats.

That was huge. We're in the driver's seat now. Win out -- #1 seed for sure. (Not that it was in question, but winning out was.)

we could even have a number 1 seed with one more loss......

we have arguably the best resume in terms of top 25 wins of anyone in the country (i readily admit, this statement is not heartily researched!).

at any rate, i think we have a good shot of winning the regular season out. it would sure be nice to win the big 12 tournament too just to make a point!

They will probably have the seeding done by the time we make the Conference Final, so a loss there probably would't hurt too much. I think if we run the table in the regular season we should be in in line for a number 1.

Ranked #7 with 3 wins over 3 of the 6 teams ahead of us. Two of those 3 teams, Kansas and UCLA, both lost this week. Duke also lost. You gotta think Texas moves ahead of those 3 teams. Then if #2 Tennessee loses and Texas has already beaten them you gotta think Texas moves up to #3 ahead of them as well.

Don't think we'll jump a 3-loss Tennessee team if they lose. I've actually been rooting for Tenn tonight so we can say we beat two No. 1 teams this season come the next rankings
