I started a thread with that title after the OU loss and was excoriated for doing so. So, I wasn't saying I disagree. The product on the field is in full support of the designation. There is no argument.

[Sarkmust turn this ship around, but I don’t know if he can. I have seen nothing to suggest that anything will change this year, and that really disturbs me.]In 8 games we have only beaten, arguably, one semi quality opponent, TCU. For that reason I believe that Sarkisian has been a huge disappointment, if not an abject failure. Even the most pessimistic among us probably would not have predicted a record of 4-4 after Baylor, on October 29th.
So “Losers” is an apt description, both by HtownBevo and HIC, earlier.
Sark must turn this ship around, but I don’t know if he can. I have seen nothing to suggest that anything will change this year, and that really disturbs me.
Are you feelings hurt?Because people have clearly forgotten how you feel about this... Glad you're making sure to bring it up every few minutes.
Talent should be measured against the competition. We certainly don’t measure up against the talent at Alabama, Ohio State or Georgia, to name three obvious examples. But our talent does compare favorably to that possessed by OSU, Baylor and every other team left on the schedule. So I would disagree with your assessment. Development issues? Yes. But not talent. We are going to be fighting and scratching next couple of games due to our talent level. That is the reality. Sure we want a win in every game but we lack talent and depth. Sure we want to hold every every lead. Ok we don't have the hosses this year. But Sark will get us there.
I agree we don't have talent like Alabama but the posters talk like we should be 7-1 as if we are like AlabamaTalent should be measured against the competition. Today, players simply didn’t make plays, particularly Moore & Washington. I also believe that Kwiatkowski and Sarkisian have not had a stellar years although both are more than capable, and the defense (in particular) did enough late today to give us a chance to win.
Finally, unlike last year, this team lacks leadership. Sam was all that. We don’t have a player this year that has stepped into that role, a “go-to” player in crunch time.
Yep, guys like me are lambasted for saying this stuff, I didn't realize there was a limitation on it, but we keep watching and hoping for improvement. Sounds like being a true fan to me.I think people get sensitive to the name calling and sentiment associated with the name "loser". But it is hard to deny we are battling a loser mentality on this team. We get tentative when things start to go against us and we have folded in the face of adversity in the 2nd half. Just watch Casey's body language before the 4th down play to end our chances, he was hanging his head and had slumping shoulders. That's our QB we needed to make a big play to keep the drive going on the next play.
It's a losing mentality that I think has taking over the locker room, the coaching staff and the fan base. I'm watching Nebraska lose to Purdue and they are suffering from the same thing.
I don't know who the leaders are in the locker room but we had a big chance during the bye week to exorcise those demons, have the players rally around each other and get rid of the defeated mentality. It looks like that didn't happen.
I think we'll limp to 6-6, I'll hope for 7-5 and then trust Sark and staff will build on this year and start fresh next year. Looking at how Aranda and Tucker have improved in their 2nd years gives me hope. Honestly Sparty had a few games last year where they looked filled with the loser mentality and their alumni were bitching about the Tucker hire. Those same alumni are getting chit faced drunk in celebration of their 8-0 start and today's victory over their rival.
I'll stand by Sark and K but there are demons to get rid of in our mentality.

I think we will have a whole new makeover with starters in 2022.Yep, guys like me are lambasted for saying this stuff, I didn't realize there was a limitation on it, but we keep watching and hoping for improvement. Sounds like being a true fan to me.
I still think sark can get things turned around. Next year will be rough, too, I predict, however.
That would be good.I think we will have a whole new makeover with starters in 2022.
Hmm,I think I might have heard that several times before. You might want to change that to 2032.I think we will have a whole new makeover with starters in 2022.
Whatever you say there, Professor.Same people who wanted Texas to get beat last year by Iowa State and not make it in the Big 12 champ game are the same people posting Loser posts. Go figure.
I havent heard that beforeHmm,I think I might have heard that several times before. You might want to change that to 2032.
It's funny that you make sense on West Mall but babble and ramble on here.Herman wasn’t good enough. But seeing you all In Iowa State gear would of been fun. Maybe as much fun as watching you all buy drinks to the bear fans calling you Longhorn’s —losers.
Herman wasn’t good enough.
Nope, its an originalI havent heard that before
Please list the Longhorn players you think are losers…just curious which ones are in your mind? It's funny that you make sense on West Mall but babble and ramble on here.
Try to keep up here. If anyone was saying that Texas losing last year wouldn't be bad in the long run so TH would be gone, that was it. What don't you understand about that?
And, are you calling posters here losers? Again?
