Just received mine in the mail today and I must admit, I am very impressed with the options we are being given this year. You get to list your preference 1-5, surface or garage, and even parking with family/friends.

Obviously, this raises questions:

1. What takes preference? Your individual preference, or the best place they can place you and your family/friends together?

2. When does the LHF expect to let us know where we are placed?

I like this method much better than last year's. But, ANYTHING is better than last year's Cluster-****

Maybe they satisfy the big doners first and then get to us small guys with what is left later....I just wish it would selttle down so I can stop trying to figure out short cuts to my new parking place.

you should be fine. As long as Blackrob, H97 and Rosco dont try to coattail with lot 80.

I opted out this year.

no donation and no season tickets.

Well, I just got mine in the mail and it doesn't mention anything about a choice. I've been informed that we'll be in the same lousy state garages we were in last year.

As a follow-up, I called the Foundation and was told that only those donors above the $600 level would be sent a preference form. Also, it was explained to me that the state is thinking about taking away 2 of the garages that the Foundation currently gets. That wouldn't be until the following season though......

So $600 is what begins to separate the "haves" vs "have-nots", huh? Curious, what garage are you in? Is it the purple checkered?

yep, purple checkered....

We're going to end up having to increase our donation not for Texas/OU tickets but for the privilege of a tailgate...

After getting Disch-Falk parking last year, which is my preferred spot, I've been cast into state garage hell this year. Very disappointed. Just over $500 donation both years.

I guess next year I'll either up my donation to >$600, or drop back to $150.

Guys - garages aren't great, but you can make due - last year we parked at the top, put up the tent, blasted the pre-game on the stereo, and tossed the football, and basically you have the roof of Garage Q to yourself. We did this last year for UT/NU - the good thing is the garage is directly across from Scholz's - bad news is no elevator or rest room

Got my application for parking in the mail. They really did improve it this year. Need to talk to my friends to see where we are going to request parking...

i parked in a garage 2 years ago. can someone please tell me why they're so bad? is it just for the tail gate? i've got friends that set all that up.

the only other thing i can think of is getting out after the games. i can see how garages might suck. i usually got there early enough to be parked on a low level.
