Legacy of Joe Biden

On literally the way out the door, pardons Fauci, Milley and J6 committee.
Perversely this plays into Trump's playbook. He and Bondi say they will not chase the crooks of the last administration to bring the country back together.

Ok, you cannot do anything to the people, but you can get to the bottom of what went down and show the American people what happened.

Yes I hope now they will conduct real investigations. Doesn’t this mean Fauci, Milley, Cheney can’t plead the 5th? After all, they can’t incriminate themselves.

Fauci and Chaney will lie; Milley might come clean. Remember all are still on the US Taxpayers' payroll. Mr. Deez or mb, does a presidential pardon cover loss of benefits?

What i don't know is if a federal pardon would convey protection under military Codes...and if they do not, the SCOTUS holding 109 years ago about pardons makes it REAL interesting.

Constitutional Authority
The president’s pardon authority derives from a provision in the U.S. Constitution. Article II, section 2, clause 1, provides that “the President … shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”9 Offenses against the United States include violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which defines the military justice system and specifies criminal offenses under military law. The president, acting as commander in chief of the Armed Forces, is authorized to write rules and regulations via an executive order known as the Manual for Courts-Martial. The Manual for Courts-Martial affords a pardoned service member with a handful of enumerated rights. The manual specifically notes that a presidential pardon bars prosecution for the pardoned misconduct, that trial counsel may not introduce evidence of a pardoned conviction during sentencing, and that a pardoned summary court-martial conviction may not be used to challenge a witness’s character for truthfulness.10
