I was suprised to see that Smith's completion % only increased from 56% to 59% last year.

They use him as a pure pocket passer. This bodes well for UT who should be able to drop their LB's back in coverage more and overplay the pass just a bit.

This is a great early game for UT in it gives them a look at a spread style offense which will give UT's young DB's a good early workout.
