"The “48 Hours” news release titles tonight’s episode “In Too Deep,” and the clear implication is that Hall might have been more of a victim than a villain in the murder of Jennifer Cave."The Link

Well, do you agree with Fred G or not, GOO?

Apparently, my friend's nephew wrote a paper on this for law school and it was used at the trial.

I knew Cave's sister real well, and I think she graduated from HS with me, but I didn't know her that well. The Texan asked my roommate and I to give quotes. The family wasn't happy with some things my roomie said, but they were true as far as she knew.

Michelle Valles must have the IQ of a house plant. There's probably more brain matter in those cans than between her ears. I keep waiting for the cameras to screw up and we see one of the KXAN producers pulling a string protruding out of her back. But on the subject of protruding, as long as those biscuits of hers remain front and center, I'll be watching.

They need to focus on how she really looked and how she really dresses/dressed. How she carried herself in real life via her internet accounts and her vocabulary. Her boasting of what she did to coworkers and others. The threats she made to people involved and not. The way she rolled her eyes during the trials, the glares and leering demeanor in trial. The absolute shock when she was actually found guilty, the utter disbelief that her fantasy world was coming crashing in. THAT would be journalism if factual info was sought.

But I guess this sensationalism sells.

Mexico has a SWAT team?

Also, she's full of it. This is someone who is covering her tracks and rehabilitating her image.

Gee, Little Miss Innocent. BS. Of course, this is the same CBS that had Dan Rather as anchor for years, so lies and exaggerations are to be expected.

I am not watching. It has nothing to do with being open minded either. I know the facts, I know what went down. I know the parties involved to an extent. I know this show is crap and knew it ahead of time. I knew it would only make me angry. I just said no.

I went to high school with Ms. Cave. I knew her sister real well in HS and I knew some of the people in those pictures.

As a law student, I'll say that Laura is probably going to jail.

If you ever watch these 48 Hrs Mysteries, they always start out that way -- making you think someone may be innocent. And then they gradually show the other side.

She is not coming off well in this thing.

Loopy, it is now looking very bad on here. the production is what is pissing me off. "I couldn't bring myself to testify against Colton" she says. It is during the interviews that she shows her true colors.

Panzer. It is already in jail.

"I want to go to law school!" - Laura Hall

Yeah...those places are going to be tripping over themselves for a girl who has been tried for mutilating a corpse and aiding and abetting a criminal.

They nailed her. I figured they'd hold the tattoo till the very end.

No way that anyone who watched that who is not familar with the case comes away from that show thinking she's innocent (as long as they watched the whole thing).

Being that I don’t live in or near Austin, I knew very little about the case prior to watching the show tonight, but I can tell you that regardless of the efforts of the show, she came off looking badly. I've always considered myself a fairly good judge of character and the feeling that I got from Laura Hall made my skin crawl, even before they described the crime. I have no doubt that she was significantly involved in the murder, maybe even planned it as the victims mom suggested. And just from looking at his pictures I can tell that that Colton dude is a Grade A Douche Bag POS. Why chicks would ever be attracted to some loser-looking guy like that is way beyond me. May the both of them burn in Hell for what they did to that poor girl.

Very creepy.

I could see why the Cave family fears her and wants her to stay behind bars. I agree that she could easily do this again. No remorse at all. No, "Even though I had nothing to do with it, I am sooooo sorry for the Caves' loss." Nothing.

Do we know that she didn't actually do the killing? Just watching that, it seems like the cops couldn't prove who actually did it, just that it was Pitonyak's place, and his gun, so he did it. (I am by no means saying I think he is innocent) Seems like they are both just as guilty to me.

To Jennifer's mom: y'all will continue to be in my prayers.
