I have been trying to pin down the details for the season prediction contest. This is what I think might work.

Well, since you won both of Dion's sample calculations (one a 12 pt win), I don't think you have much competition.

I’ll see what I can do — with a score of 8 in week one you are off to a solid start but don’t get too cocky and relaxed just yet

Is this to be the regular season; regular plus bowl; regular plus bowl/CFP; or be fluid and use the postseason as the tiebreaker/extra points? If you have a minimum of nine games, that sets the number of games for everyone as if you have a good delta after 9 games you just don't predict the remainder.

It is easier to work with an even number and would suggest 10 regular-season games eliminating the best and worst prediction with the postseason either being a separate contest or settling ties. (This keeps any $EC opponent claiming they were not interested in the bowl game when they lose so they really won the regular season.)

For now it is the 12 regular season games, but later on we can talk about whether to include the CCG if we get there, and maybe do the bowl game as a separate contest or tiebreaker.
