L O S T 3/20

Okay, why hasn't anyone said anything about the fact that Tom was killed by Sawyer on the beach in this season's first episode. And now he's reappeared without any kind of explanation? Does anyone know the story on that or did I miss something?

Okay, nevermind. Tom was in NYC before the ship sailed with Michael on it and then was killed after he went back to the island. All this moving back and forth confused me.
 
As far as the timeline goes with Kate being pregnant with Aaron, we are assuming that the 6 are "rescued" by this freighter.

The fact of the matter is that we don't know yet WHEN they get rescued, or how much time they ultimately spend on the island.
 
Yeah I thought that too when I saw Tom but then I figured he had gone back to the island from the time he spoke with Michael.

How does Michael get back into the country though? They never showed that. Did the others pick him up off the island and bring him home? How does his mother or aunt and all his friends not whistleblow his deal? Especially when they find the wreckage of the fake plane...I mean they knew he was on the plane right?
 
That video was awesome. Since that appeared to be Tiny Walt, looks like that was a while back. But damn...not until this last episode and that video have I ever noticed just how freakin' hot Sawyer is. yowza. momma like.

I’m with veggieboy in that I think we are relying too heavily on the idea that the freighties are the ones who return the Oceanic 6 to the mainland. We have no proof of that yet.
And who is to say Kate couldn’t have been 3-4 months preggers when they crashed (we know she wasn’t…but that could easily be her story since no one had seen her but the bounty hunter…or who ever that guy was) and we still have several seasons left leading me to think they may still have about 90 or so days left on the island. Granted…Aaron is waaaay to old for all this to be plausible…it’s just fun to imagine.

Also - 7 Iron - I wouldn’t say that Linus and Widmore are automatically “bad.” From whose perspective? It’s possible to see Ben as wanting to protect the island at all costs and it’s possible to understand why Widmore would want to share, if not exploit, the powers of the island with the world (or rather, those with large enough checkbooks).
They have both proven they have a moral flexibility that perhaps many of the Losties don’t.

I love this adventure. Anyone given any thought to the style with which you wish the series will end? I’d like to see the final episodes lead up to current time (when will that be? 2010?) flash backs and forwards and confusing plot lines only to have everything lead to a current-day episode of how everything has been addressed.
 
Its nice that Widmore scouted his crew so thoroughly and had immediate trust in them enough to allow locked crates to shipped to them without an ioda of suspicion. Just an observation
 
i'm pretty sure they're both "bad." They both have presumably sinister reasons for wanting to possess the island, the means and will to do so, loads of cash, uncanny persuasion and manipulation skills, etc. The lost people are inadvertently caught in the crossfire of their battle for the island, and taking sides one way or another looks like their only way to survive.

P.S. is anyone sick of the personified idea of "the island?" Every time i hear someone say like, "The island doesn't want us to do that." it makes me cringe.
 
This episode had some great moments. My only problem was that I think a lot of what Micheal's, er Kevin Johnson's, story revealed was predictable. But they had to tell it all, I guess I am just upset with the shortening of the season and I am afraid that they won't be able to jam as much into this season as I was hoping.

I think one of the great things about this last episode was to see Sayid's complete distaste and hatred for Ben, and trust for the captain (who he knows works for Widmore), while we know that later, off the island, he works for Ben presumably against Widmore.
 
If we know the O6, then that means Dez isnt one of them, which means there will be no Dez - Penny reunion, which kinda sucks after all that.
