Looks like Kate is in fact one of the Oceanic 6 and they will probably show how she got off the island and got off the hook for her murder charge.

Also looks like another Kate love scene

Ugh, Kate episodes usually suck, as hot as she is. Still, it's LOST. Also, we need more Daniel Faraday.

I look forward to watching it tomorrow since I get to go to the Obama/Clinton debate tonight. They really didn't think through the effect of the debate on the LOST demographic.

That's a good read. I really like Lindeloff as a writer and producer. He has a very vivid imagination and it translates well to the show.
 
This is telling about how things play out.

LINDELOF: There was originally a line in that episode where Sayid said, ''I've just returned from the Seychelles,'' which would have cleared all that up. But we lost it in editing because the scene went on for four minutes. When we're presenting you with a narrative, it's always happening in chronological order.
 
thats what i don't get. what does it mean the future flashes are in chronological order? i thought that when they showed hurley telling jack he shouldnt have left, that was before jack tried to kill himself and contact kate. are they saying that the first flashward is the earliest and that jack then rights himself and helps hurley? i'm confused as to the order of the flashforwards. i thought it went:

1. kate gets back (but still watching ep)
2. hurley flips out
3. jack then flips out and contacts kate
4. at some point sayid does the killings but not necessarily before or after the first two things.

any help? thanks!
 
They're speaking of each flash forward within an episode being in chronological order. They have never really presented the episodes in chronological order of when flashbacks/forwards happen.
 
Great again! I actually called the person Kate had to get back to when she meets Jack at the airport as being Aaron .... but I was still shocked. I'm not sure LOST can get any better!
 
That was a definite "oh ****" ending to the episode.

Only flaw was it was sadly lacking in Sayidabadassery.

and i'm lost. what is the significance of aaron? is that sawyers real name? man, there are so many twists and turns...
 
why wouldn't Jack want to see Aaron though. what would be the hang up? just too emotional? there's gotta be more to it than that.

also jack said that 8 people survived, but 6 only made it back. man, why are they hiding the truth? somebody's got em by the balls

Why on earth does Jack not want to see Aaron? Maybe Aaron is the short coffin? Maybe not.

Did the Ghostwhispers ask Ben "where are you right now?" or "where are you really?" or something like that. Any of you Tivo folks catch that part?
 
I watched it tonight with friends that arent that into LOST they looked at me weird at the end when I was repeating Holy ****. I was not expecting that ending, this season has been amazing thus far
 
who says Clare dies? maybe she stays on the island. maybe she just couldnt come along because there wasnt room, and she told kate to raise the baby as her own.
 
He's not part of the 6. The story was that 8 survived the crash and 2 died in the water. Aaron wasn't on the flight as he hadn't been born yet.
 
There's only three possible explanations how another Oceanic 6 was to be revealed tonight:

- They are considering Aaron as one of the 6.
- They only officially confirmed Kate was part of the six. Which wasn't confirmed yet.
or
- ABC got it wrong when they wrote the promo for this episode.
 
This also explains why Kate doesn't want her mother to see Aaron. It would be obvious to her mother that it isn't really Kate's child.

Good episode. Love seeing Locke do a little Sayid-torture/punishment to that ghostbuster/shakedown artist.
