A poor hitting team can't win on the road. You can't win with pitching on the road. The umpires will force your pitchers to throw it over the plate for the home team, and they will get some runs. You have to out score teams on the road. If we can't hit we will be .500 or worse this year.

Losing three games to KU is the worst UT performance I have seen since, well giving that Clemente dude 44 points at home.

Someone give me a reason to watch this team come Tuesday and the following weekend?

I have no idea if this team will get it done this year or not. Right now, it looks like they probably don't have the guns on offense. But pitching and defense is still where you get it done, and this group is awfully good in both areas. They're going to be just fine. This is a low spot, and it sucks, but please have a little perspective. It's the second conference weekend. Everybody's losing right now. This team will be in the running when it comes down to it.
