KU game 1

Jungmann pitching. His pitch count still looks good I believe.

Stanfield(?) leading it off for Kansas:

0-1 (Foul)
1-1
2-1
3-1
Groundout to second. 1 out.

Eldredge at bat:

1-0
Skip Johnson makes his first visit to talk with Jungmann.
2-0
3-0
3-1 (Called)
3-2 (Called)
Jungmann apparently missing low with his pitches, but still throwing in the low 90's.
Ball four. Two on with one out.

Brunansky at bat:

0-1 (Foul)
1-1
2-1
2-2 (Foul)
Strike three call. Going to the top of the 9th. 7-0 Texas still.

Missouri up 3-2 on Baylor in the sixth or so I think.

Cohl Walla up to bat (took Kephart's place):

0-1 (Called)
1-1
1-2 (Foul)
Hit in the back pocket, not near where he got hit before. Maitland in to run for him.

Walsh batting:

1-0
Groundout to third, nice play by their third baseman to get the out. Runner on second with two out.

Pitching change for Kansas. One on with two out, one run across in the inning, 8-0 Texas. Jungmann has pitched 8 innings and given up 1 hit so far today.

going to the bottom of the 6th, still 2-0 K St over sand aggy--announced attendance, btw, is 759 (isnt that walk up at the Disch??) but tech announcers saying closer to 350--man, sounds like a Hardin-Simmons home game (my apologies to any Cowboy fans out there)

Mansfield in to pitch for Kansas. 2.00 ERA, 18 IP.

Etier up to bat:

First pitch lined into right center, scores Montalbano, Etier into third with a Triple. He's had a single, double, and triple this game.

Thornhill in to pitch for Texas.

Waters to bat for Kansas:

1-0
1-1 (Foul)
1-2 (Swinging)
1-2 (Foul)
1-2 (Foul)
1-2 (Foul)
2-2
Groundout to second. 1 out.

Lytle up to bat:

1-0
1-1 (Called)
1-2 (Swinging)
Groundout to short, ballgame over.

Great win for the Horns, glad to see the offense score in the 9th after having a big lead already. 9-0 final score.

No problem, I love doing updates for games like that. Not only does it pad my post count

, but it makes me focus on the game and imagine it better. Don't know if I'll be available tomorrow night to do it, and I can almost guarantee I won't be able to Saturday. Glad I could do it tonight though.
