Brandon gave up a single and a walk, and had runners and 2nd and 3rd after a wild pitch, but got a K to stay ou of trouble. 0-0going to bot 1st.

We got a single and a walk, but I could not believe that with 2 outs and runner on first, Keyes took a 3-0 pitch for a walk. Come on man, swing the bat! .. With 2 on, a long drive that stayed inside the park at the longest part of the field .. 0-0 to top of 2nd.

Now a solo leadoff homer from KSU. 0-1 ... Yeek.

Workman puts onemore on with a walk but gets a K to get out of the inning. 0-1 to bot 2nd.

Kevin groundout, Loy single, Preston flyout, Rowe single, Torres single, we tie it up .. and Torres gets caught trying to stretch it to a double.

1-1 going to top 3rd.

Brandon is not doing great, but not losing total control either. 3 hits, 3 walks, 3 Ks, 2 runs through three inning. A ton of pitches too. 60 through three innings!

Tucker doubles to start bot 3rd. Yikes, 2 good hits snagged at 2nd base. 2 out. Amazing, how we just cannot hit something to get more runs. 5 hits and a bunch of pretty good contact so far but nothing much to show for it. Total funk, and massive amount of bad luck too. Now a groundout. Leadoff double wated. 1-2 to 4th.

An "excuse me" single that goes to the perfect infield spot, and we have baes loaded.

What would have been a DP (not sure) is bobbled, and a run scores. 2 out, 1-4. Groundout. inning over but we are behind 1-4..

Yet another solidly hit ball, but goes to the center fielder. This is unreal. We are actually hitting the ball quite well but stuff just not happening well enough. 1 out.

Top 7th. Leadoff (almost) double kept to a single by the good work from Tant. Sacrifice moves him to 2nd. Nice K by Jungmann for second out. An unofficial intentional walk to Cruz. Now the batter moves into a pitch and gets an HBP. Loaded. 2 outs. HUGE swing and a miss K by Jungmann. Extremely smart pitching there by Jungmann, all through the inning. Superb work, not allowing them to get hold of anything to hit and throwing perfect pitches at perfect times! GO Horns.

5-4 to bot 7th. Let us get some insurance runs, horns.

Pitching change for us, but oh boy. Leadoff walk by Dicharry in 4 pitches. Come on horns, let us not mess around.

Dicharry throws another ball for 5 straight, and Skip comes in wit the hook immediately (first time that Dicharry has had to go three days in a row, so Skip not taking any chances). Austin Wood comes in. Ruffin also warming up.

Crap. A single. Runners and 1st and 2nd and nobody out.
Bunt. 1 out. Runners at 2nd and 3rd.
Another rather unofficial IBB. Loaded with 1 out, again.
Big K for second out.
2-run single. And we are behind ONCE AGAIN. Lord, have mercy on me!

Third out on a chopper. 5-6 to the bot of 8th.

Loy again beats out a throw on a great bunt.
Preston can't pt a bunt down and strikes out. Come on, man!
Kyle Lusson takes the first two pitches, swings/misses. K again. Yikes.

So many balls hit with the meat of the bat and tyhey just would not fall in the right places when we really need one.

Never thought we would go through two stretches of misfortunes of the worst kind like this, in one season.

Ar we really going to see a FIFTH one-run loss to these Kansas teams this year? Lord, please help us.

Keys groundout. 2 out. Belt goes to third.
Rupp down 0-2. Last pitch. Check swing, appeal, no. 1-2, foul, checkswing again, appeal, no again .. 2-2 .. And he hits a double to left ceter!!!

TIED 6-6!!! what a job by Rupp.

AND A HIT from Loy .. Pinch runer Etier comes in but is caught at the plate on a very close play. DAMN, so close. What do we have to do to beat a Kansas team, Lord?

6-6 to the 10th inning. Next inning is the last one, as the damn 4.45 pm curfew comes in.

unbelievable....why can't we beat a team from Kansas? Why do we win 10 in a row and then not have the killer instinct this week? Nothing makes sense!!!!
