The NBA wouldn't suspend Kobe during the playoffs if he shot someone on the court. If the roles were reversed and Battier did that to Kobe, it would have been a technical, a fine, and a 1 game suspension.

There will not be a more jacked up atmosphere than Toyota Center on Friday night. The Lakers have turned this into a physical series, and they picked the wrong bunch of scrappers to try that style. The Rockets are not wowed nor intimidated by these guys. This just became a war that I do not think the Lakers can win. Go Rockets! For what it is worth, I have a strong dislike for Kobe and always have. That being said, I want him on the floor for this entire series. I don't want any excuses a la 93/94, 94/95 (the rockets only won because Jordan was out of the league). Can't wait for Friday night.

While I didn't like how Ron Artest handled the foul from Kobe last night, I loved his interview after the game in the locker room. He actually seemed pretty calm and collected, but in a "don't **** with us son" sort of way.

I also love how Artest has gelled with the rockets this season. I honestly believe he's a great fit on this team, and I used to hate the guy. He really has brought some aggressiveness to Houston.

And I'm not talking about the bad kind. I'm talking about the kind that won us game 1.

yeah but shane took an elbow and a knee to the head from that fake chump. that's how kobe tries to play "tough". it's laughable that he made a comment about "it's like 80's basketball". yeah, he's real physical;behind the scenes with cheap shots. im fairly certain he punches like a girl too. rant over.
