Kirkman on the DL

Rangers put Kirkman on the DL because of skin cancer. He'll get some treatments, get a few days off and a few days in the minors to rehab. Doesn't appear to serious, but maybe the big lefty will get a chance to clear his head an renew confidence in his stuff.

As many of you know, I am a critic of Kirkman but I too have had skin cancer. It is not somthing to be taken lightly. I wish him well in dealing with that. I also hope he gets his game turned around with the time off.
