Like was said earlier - Bill Clinton's former campaign manager was on with Matthews and he could name plenty of things on why he supports Obama

I am in the camp of when have issues actually mattered. Most national elections are based on perception. Right now Obama is perceived as the hot candidate and that is really all that matters. General election voters tune out issues discussions very quickly. We have been trained to listen for catch phrases.

Jimmy Carter...we all know how that ended. Four years too late, unfortunately. Voting for him in '76 is my only Presidential voting regret. I was, unfortunately, a young idealistic college kid who learned a hard lesson.
