I have an electrical trap in the barn - runs on batteries. The thing goes in to get the bait and zap! Electrocuted rat. Be sure to turn it off before you stick your hand in there....

I bought that rat zapper on the above poster's recomendation. I set it up Monday and as of this morning it is rat zapper 2 - rats living in my garage 0. I love it.
