What's funny is that Vol fans have been calling Crompton and Clawson (the offensive coordinator) the next great thing for several months now. I was never sold on Crompton. The group of people that I watched the game with kept going on and on about how great Clawson is. IMO, he cost them the game. They SHOULD have rammed the ball down UCLA's throats or called a screen or a slant. Something other than dropping back every time when all sorts of pressure is coming straight up the middle.
4 INTs is tough, but understandable for a 3rd string kid, especially after he lost his TE to injury. Didn't help that he lost his RB as well. The Tenn QB was servicable as long as there was no pressure, everytime he got some pressure he made terrible throws.
