I am confused about why it is taking so long for Kelsey Bone to decide on her team. Doesn't she know that Coach G is top notch and one of the most outstanding coaches around? The University of Texas has so much to offer and nobody has more pride and school spirit than The Longhorns.
As a UT alumni and avid sports fan I would love to see her onboard. "The Eyes of Texas "are upon you, Kelsey.

Maybe she's more comfortable playing for a good ole boy like Gary Blair or a coach that can relate to the players better like Dawn Staley at South Carolina.

Every recruit does things in their own way; nothing wrong with that. Kelsey will make the decision that is best for her and her family when she is ready. We'd all love for her to come to Austin, but our reasons as to why we think she should choose Texas aren't necessarily her reasons. Let's give her the time, space, and respect she deserves to sort through the process. Several other recruits are still undecided, as well, so let's not make it seem like KB is the only one still in the decision process.

Yesterday was the FIRST day of the EARLY signing period. Seems like many fans have lost sight of the fact that you don't HAVE to sign the FIRST day allowed. What's important is to sign by the LAST day allowed, and that's not until next May, I believe.

I think we're all just getting nervous...Kelsey, Tayler, Cokie and Lauren could be the best class in the country. It's so exciting to think about how good we could be!! I know we could bring that National Championship back to Austin!!

Kelsey will be fine in whatever decision she makes. Giving herself more time may leave little room for regrets about a hasty decision. I respect Kelsey for her ability to be patient and let things play out.

Cokie had good reasons for making an early decision, stating that she wanted to stay close to her family so they would be able to attend the games. Kelsey's family has stated that they would be willing to move with Kelsey should she decide to go out of state. That in itself gives her more to think about.

Although we would all love to see a team of Cokie and Kelsey in burnt orange (with a natinal championship), she has a lot of weight on her shoulders right now, and I respect her decision to wait for the right choice.
