She may have. It seems to me that this interview occurred after she had eliminated UCONN because she also spoke about Tennessee offering their only available scholarship to Spani, and I think that happened after eliminating UCONN, but I could be mistaken. It all runs together after a while.

I heard the interview with the Houston radio station LIVE that day. Obviously, we all remember different details, but my "best" memory was that when she listed her 4 finalists, she said "The University of Texas", but didn't say University for Illinois or South Carolina. Don't remember if she said "University" as she listed Texas A&M ____ .
